Instructions for poster presenters

As presenter you have to register for the Main Conference an present on-site.

Posters should have a size of DIN A0 (841 x 1189 mm). They must be prepared in portrait ratio.

We recommend to include contact details to enable (online) participants to contact you. See also “Online Interaction” below.

Posters will be on display in the Conference Repository.

The repository will be available only to registered participants from beginning September until October 30, 2022. Each poster will have its own landing page, including abstract, schedule, PDF and video introduction if provided (see below for video).

Each presenter will receive an individualized upload password via e-mail.

The deadline for poster uploads is September 11, 2022 at 20:00 CEST!

To profit the most from presenting your research, we also strongly encourage you to prepare a short video introduction of max. 3 minutes. Shortly explain what is exciting about your research and invite participants to join you during the live poster session. To record your video, we a suggest common and easy-to-use tool, e.g. Zoom. For more elaborate versions you may find some help here: https://obsproject.com/

Videos can be hosted in the Bernstein Conference Vimeo channel. They will be available only to registered participants in the frame of the Conference Repository 2022. Upload your video before Friday, August 26, 2022, 12:00 CEST! File names must follow the naming scheme AbstractNumber_FirstAuthor.

Other file names will not be considered and authors cannot be informed. Preferred video format is *.mp4.

Self-hosted videos can also be linked in the Conference Repository, via the individual upload key (see above). The deadline for uploading the link to self-hosted poster videos is September 11, 2022 at 20:00 CEST, as for the poster uploads.

After a long break, we will go back to a fully on-site, in-person experience. To accommodate every poster, presentations will be distributed over a total of four poster sessions of 80 mins each.

All poster presenters are informed about their assigned poster session via e-mail.

Poster Session I – 14.09.2022, 16:30 – 17:50h:

Mounting:  13:00-14:00h
Dismounting: 17:50 – 18:00h

Poster Session II – 14.09.2022, 18:10 – 19:30h:

Mounting:  18:00-18:10h

Poster Session III – 15.09.2022, 12:45 – 14:05h:

Mounting:  10:30-11:00h

Poster Session IV – 15.09.2022, 14:25 – 15:45h:

To realize the hybrid elements of this year’s conference, we will again use Hopin as online platform.

This platform allows direct messaging between participants in the browser-based platform and via app. We strongly recommend poster presenters to check for messages. If you want to be available via Hopin, please make sure to be registered and logged in to the platform and/or the app.
