Mit den Professuren soll \u00c4rztinnen und \u00c4rzten mit herausragenden Leistungen sowohl in Patientenversorgung als auch Forschung eine langfristige Perspektive gegeben werden, den Berufsweg des Clinician Scientist weiterzugehen und je die H\u00e4lfte ihrer Arbeitszeit f\u00fcr Forschung mit Lehre und Patientenversorgung einzusetzen. Die Finanzierung der Professur ist auf maximal 10 Jahre angelegt. Nach einer ersten F\u00f6rderperiode von f\u00fcnf Jahren und unter der Bedingung einer positiven Zwischenevaluation ist eine einmalige Verl\u00e4ngerung um weitere f\u00fcnf Jahre m\u00f6glich. Die Clinician Scientist Professur ist mit insgesamt bis zu 1,1 Mio. \u20ac dotiert. Die Mittel dienen der Finanzierung der Personalkosten des Forschungsanteils des Stelleninhabers, die in der H\u00f6he von 50% des Gehalts einer W3-Professur liegen sollten.
