Committees – Bernstein Network Computational Neuroscience

The executive committee of the Bernstein Network guides and directs activities in the network. The chair and the treasurer act as the official representatives. The steering committee supports the work of the executive committee.

The young scientists, i.e. students and doctoral candidates as well as postdocs, elect their respective representatives in order to voice their specific concerns.

Every two years, the committees of the Bernstein Network are elected in the course of the annual general meeting. All members of the network are entitled to vote.

Steering Committee

The steering committee supports the work of the executive committee. It consists of scientists of the Bernstein Network. In 2017, the steering committee was elected for the first time in order to anchor the responsibility for the further development of the network more broadly and to support the executive committee in making important decisions.
