Nationally and internationally networked
Bernstein Nodes can be established wherever many Bernstein Network members are active but no Bernstein Center is located. They not only promote interdisciplinary, but also national and international collaboration within the computational neuroscience community. This is because Bernstein Nodes can be set up at locations worldwide. In this way, scientists working experimentally and theoretically are networked even more effectively and the coordination of both local and global activities is promoted.
