PhD Symposium 2024

The Bernstein PhD Symposium is an opportunity for junior researchers to meet their peers, share their experiences and make new connections. We strive for an inclusive and informal environment that fosters discussions and allows for an open exchange of ideas. It is organized entirely by PhD students. Master students are very welcome to participate!

This year’s topic is currently being planned and will be announced here soon.

Format

The PhD Symposium consists of lectures followed by a panel discussion, as well as several unconference sessions. During the unconference sessions, you will have the opportunity to discuss with other students in small groups, in an informal setting. The discussion topics are proposed and voted on by yourselves on-site. We hope that via these relaxed discussions, you will make new friends, exchange ideas, and share experiences.
