The Bernstein Network Computational Neuroscience invites proposals for Satellite Workshops at the Bernstein Conference 2025.
Satellite Workshops of the Bernstein Conference 2025 provide a forum to discuss topical research questions, novel scientific approaches, and challenges in computational neuroscience and related fields. Ideally, the format should foster extensive scientific discussions and debates, and go beyond a mere series of talks. Proposals are welcome for either half-day or full-day workshops.
The Satellite Workshops will be held in parallel sessions. See above for the time frame. Half-day workshops can be offered either on Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. Catering during coffee breaks (Sunday afternoon and Monday morning) will be organized by the Bernstein Network.
Selection criteria for workshop proposals will include scientific excellence, topical relevance and diversity aspects of the selected speakers, e.g. gender or career level.
To submit your proposal, complete the online form linked below. Submissions can be modified until Wednesday, May 07 at 15:00 CEST.
Please note that the submission deadline will not be extended.
Benefits
For each workshop, the organizers will receive one fee waiver for the Satellite Workshops, which they can award to one of the workshop speakers. We strongly recommend that the waiver is issued under the consideration of aspects of inclusion.
