Both stations will demonstrate the pace of development and innovative strength using concrete examples – in the promotion of young talent and in direct industrial applications. In Tübingen, a place for cutting-edge AI research with international appeal, the Federal President talks to the finalists of the BWKI student competition about their wealth of ideas and their motivation to work with AI. The fact that the use of AI is already making a contribution to value creation today is illustrated by the visit to Robert Bosch GmbH in Renningen.
At the same time, “Werkstattgespräche” will be held at Bosch at the invitation of the Federal President, in which experts from science, business and society will discuss the potential for value creation and innovation in AI applications and what measures are needed to strengthen Germany’s international competitiveness. They will then discuss the results with the Federal President.
The “Werkstatt des Wandels” focuses on places where successful transformations make new opportunities for society visible. It is a series of events organized by the Federal President in cooperation with the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt and the Carl Zeiss Foundation and is designed and implemented in collaboration with the Center for Responsible Research and Innovation of the Fraunhofer IAO.
