We invite the computational neuroscience community to submit abstracts for the Bernstein Conference 2025. Submissions may be considered for either Contributed Talks or Poster Sessions.
Contributed Talks
Deadline: June 17, 2025 at 15:00 CEST
Contributed Talks will be presented in a single-track format. Selected by the Program Committee, these talks highlight and recognize outstanding research in the field of computational neuroscience. Each talk must not exceed 10 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for questions and answers.
Selection Criteria:
Contributed Talks will be selected through a (double-)blind review process. Please design your abstract accordingly, ensuring that no author names or affiliation details are included. Cite all relevant prior work—including your own—using passive voice or third person (e.g., ‚It has been shown that… [1]‘ or ‚They have shown that… [1]‘). Avoid using personal pronouns such as ‚my‘ or ‚our,‘ and do not include references to funding sources.
Abstracts that have not been properly anonymized cannot be considered for contributed talks.
If your submitted abstract is not selected for a contributed talk, it will automatically be considered for revision as a potential poster presentation.
Poster Sessions
Deadline: July 15, 2025 at 15:00 CEST
The Poster Sessions provide a platform for scientists to present their work to the community and engage in in-depth discussions with fellow researchers.
Specific time slots will be allocated for each presenter and onsite presentation is mandatory. Poster presenters may also include their contact details to allow participants to reach out beyond the scheduled session.
